About
Everything began on the 10th July, at five in the morning.
I was walking back home after a night out. Suddenly a cute girl arrived in front of me. She looked me and started running. I stayed still and I smiled. She didn’t stop and jumped on me with all her power. She hugged me and, like a dead weight, while hugging me, we fell down violently. She fell on top of me brutally and I hit my shoulder against a sharp step.
I felt pain but I was shocked. Then I realised that the girl was unconscious. I was worried. Thankfully, she wasn’t alone, and her friends arrived and told me “Sorry man, everything is ok, she’s just drunk”. They took her on their shoulders and left.
Fifty seconds of pure madness. I started walking back home and after a little while I realised that my shoulder wasn’t ok, I was feeling pain. I went back to look for the girl and her friends but they were nowhere to be found.
It turned out that the girl broke my shoulder. This meant three months without surfing, sporting activities, and a long rehabilitation.
As always happen in these cases, off course the day after was pumping and I was very upset.
I quickly realised that I needed something to stay connected with the surf and the ocean even if I was injured. So, I bought a camera.
When you travel you keep memories in your mind; with photography, these memories are even more real, and you can keep a souvenir for life.
This webpage includes almost all my trips and experiences through my lens since that 10th July 2010, and aims to share my thoughts with anyone interested. Pictures are the best instance of a memory, a moment, an action. Even better than taking pictures is putting some words to the pictures and that’s the aim of this page.
Here you’ll find the stories, vicissitudes, adventures and secrets hidden in the pictures I took.
For all of those interested in purchasing the pictures, there is an ecommerce where you can buy the jpg file.
